The FoMUX-4LE/8LE device is a simple and low cost solution for multiplexing 4 to 8 E1 lines, one RS-232 and one 10/100 Mbps full speed non-blocking Fast Ethernet channel over single mode or multimode fiber optic cable. FoMUX-4LE/8LE has one or two slots for SFP fiber optics transceivers so it can meet different requirements for redundancy, fiber type and power budget (fiber cable length). Device have 4 or 8 independent E1 (G.703 Balanced) ports that support transparent transmission of structured or unstructured 2.048 Mbps E1 stream over fiber. FoMUX-4LE/8LE requires minimal configuration effort using DIP-Switches. It can be installed into 19” rack using brackets included.
