qBRIDGE-105 is a low cost reliable SDSL modem working in "Bridge connection" mode.
It can be used for connection of remote segments of 10/100Base-TX Ethernet networks over standard
two wire copper line using SDSL technology. qBRIDGE-105 enables connection of two LANs with 144-2320 Kbps throughput.
Embedded ASIC-based hardware bridge offers very high reliability and performance.
ASIC-based architecture allows eliminating performance problem (especially when there is a large
amount of short Ethernet frames to transfer over SDSL interface). Peak device performance is 90000 frames per
second that is more than enough for any type Ethernet traffic processing.
"Bridge connection" mode modem is transparent for Ethernet frames with VLAN tag and for VPN packets.
It has one Ethernet 10/100Base-TX port with Auto-Negotiation and Auto-MDIX capability and one SDSL
144-2320 Kbps port. User can easily configure qBRIDGE-105 with no additional equipment.
DIP-switches are used to control all qBRIDGE-105 functions.
The device has selectable frame buffer configuration, configurable LAN Filtering mode, IEEE 802.3x flow control.
For SDSL interface user can select COE/CPE mode and line speed.
qBRIDGE-105 can be used in point to point applications as well as in point to multipoint applications
as a CPE for 8-port SDSL concentrator qMAX-800S. It’s also possible to use SDSL splitter at data rates more than 768 Kbps to have telephone service over the same copper line.
The SDSL-16SS is a passive low-pass filter designed to provide POTS service
in concert with DSL technology. The device blocks high frequency energy
from interfering with POTS equipment.
The SDSL-16SS employs a low-pass filter for standard voice-grade lines.
