qBRIDGE-206 Family G.SHDSL.bis modems The product line is discontinued
Brief | Manual
qBRIDGE-206 is a high performance G.SHDSL.bis modem operating in the "Bridge" mode.
It supports ITU-T Standard (G.991.2 Rev.2 Annex F&G) G.SHDSL.bis technology and provides a symmetrical
data rates up to 5.7 Mbps on a single pair of ordinary phone line, up to 11.4 Mbps on two twisted-pairs
and 22,8 Mbps (soon) on a 4-pairs line.
The modem is designated for optimized Ethernet delivery known as Ethernet in the First Mile (EFM).
A pair of modems offers a cost effective solution for deploying high-speed Ethernet based services to customers over long distances.
It supports TC PAM-32 line coding - much more efficient than TC PAM-16, giving higher throughput and reach.
Modem provides a broadband transmission speed from 192 Kbps up to 5.7 Mbps
over single twisted-pair copper line and from 384 Kbps to 11.4 Mbps over two twisted-pairs.
With its rate adaptive features, modem provides longer reach on transmission distance according to the line conditions
up to 7 Km (26 AWG). qBRIDGE-206 is operating in the Bridge mode and provides transparency for any protocol
as well as "long" VLAN frames transfer, enabling users to employ VLAN and other protocols requiring large frame sizes.
The device has one Ethernet 10/100Base-TX port with auto-negotiation
and One (qBRIDGE-206S) or Two (qBRIDGE-206) G.SHDSL.bis line ports and DIP Switches for configuration.
It can be configured as a COE (Mater Unit) or as a CPE (Slave Unit). Users may also select a fixed data rate for COE by them.
It's an excellent solution for bandwidth intensive applications
such as Video Conferencing, VoIP and LAN-to-LAN connectivity.
