qbridge

    qBRIDGE is a family of high performance access devices (modems/ converters) operating in the "Bridge connection" mode which prime function is connecting remote segments of Ethernet 10/100Base-TX networks. Various data transfer techniques via copper or optic channels are applied.

    The device encapsulates LAN (Ehternet) data packages to a WAN (HDLC) synchronous port and vice versa. Maximum data transfer and filtration speed is 90000 packages per second with the size of adjustable package buffer as much as 340 frames. WAN can use any synchronous serial interface with 50 Mbps max speed from among already implemented or on the base of the customer order. The "Bridge connection" mode provides transparency for any protocol (TCP/IP, IPX, etc) as well as "standard" and "long" VLAN frames transfer.

    ""Point-to-ponit" technique can be applied to all qBRIDGE modifications when remote LAN segments are connected. Some qBRIDGE modifications can be used for "point-multipoint" systems, when for example Internet connection is required.

  qBRIDGE-101 is a high performance converter/bridge that could be used for connection of remote segments of 10/100Base-TX Ethernet networks over standard E1 channels (SDH or PDH network). qBRIDGE-101 can be connected to ITU G.703/G.704 structured as well as to ITU G.703 unstructured links. In other words, qBRIDGE-101 enables connection of two LANs through an E1 line using selected timeslots only.   qBRIDGE-206 is a G.SHDSL.bis (ITU-T G.991.2 Annex F&G) modem operating in the "Bridge" mode. The modem is designated for optimized Ethernet delivery known as Ethernet in the First Mile (EFM). qBRIDGE-206 that enables data transmission speed up to 5.7 Mbps on 2-wire line and up to 11.4 Mbps on 4-wire line. It supports TC PAM-32 line coding and achieves 10 Mbps throughputs within the range of up to 2,5 km with 0.4 mm wire diameter. The modem is transparent for "tagged VLAN" packages.
